Listings on property portals such as Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket will get the most exposure in search results within the first week, so it’s vital to set the right price from the outset to maximise interest and viewings.
Be Realistic
Some agents will quote a high initial asking price in order to win your business. It’s nice to hear that your home is worth more than you thought, but the reality is that price is ultimately determined by offer and demand. Quite often, what will happen is that your property won’t sell simply because the asking price was too high from the outset and, the longer it doesn’t sell, the more buyers assume there’s a problem with the property. Premier Properties Perth are looking for a driven Sales Negotiator to join our hard-working team and get involved in all aspects of the sales process from the point of instruction to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and customer focused individual to join our professional and friendly team and to help us to drive forward the business.
Duties:
Negotiate offers – including setting and managing closing dates, arranging viewings/ carrying out viewings, managing enquiries from vendors and buyers, liaise with solicitors, surveyors and photographers. Advertising sale properties and updating social media channels.
Essentials:
Current or previous experience in estate agency or a sales related role would be desirable but not essential. A full clean driving licence, good level of IT skills and a team player with an ambitious approach.
Hours:
This post is a permanent full-time contract, with a half day Saturday on a rota basis and the occasional evening.
