We have just secured a win at The British Property Awards, securing Gold for Perth & Kinross for the second year running and have now been shortlisted for a number of national awards which will be announced later in the year.
We are so delighted to win this award as The British Property Awards are one of the most inclusive estate agency awards providers due to their mystery shopping process, and the fact that there is no participation fee. This has enabled their award to be structured in a manner that ensures maximum participation, on average judging over 90% of agents that meet their minimum criteria on a local level. The feedback we received was that the Premier Properties team performed outstandingly throughout the extensive judging period which focused on the customer service levels of agents based in the Perth and Kinross area. In fact, we were one of the few agents that responded to every single enquiry, with excellent response times.
Director Katie Hall explains what winning this award means to the team: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award for the second year in a row in such a competitive industry. The judging process involved the awards team personally mystery shopping every estate agent against a set of 25 criteria to obtain a balanced overview of their customer service levels. The judging criteria is both comprehensive and detailed exploring different mediums, scenarios and time periods to ensure that agents have been rigorously and fairly judged.
Head of Estate Agency, Gary Robertson, explains how the team maintained their excellent levels of customer service during a very busy period: “It has been an extremely busy start to the year for us. In April, we recorded our best ever month for sales agreed and for new listings and we have broken both those records yet again in May. Indeed, according to official statistics from Rightmove, we sold more properties in May than any other agent across Perthshire (35 in total) and, at the time of writing, we are the top selling estate agent across the main Perth PH1 and PH2 areas for 2018 so far.
So, despite our levels of business increasing rapidly throughout the period we were being mystery shopped, our levels of customer service, response times and first impressions remained at a very high standard. I’m particularly proud of the team for that aspect of it and I have to pay tribute to all members for their continued hard work, positive attitude and for embracing what we are striving to achieve”.
Director, Alan Keddie added: “It has also been a hugely successful start to the year for us on the lettings front. To date, we have let 44 properties across Perthshire, more than double that of our nearest competitor, giving us a 30% share of the overall market”. This is the fourth customer service award we have received, having also won the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Star Award for Excellence in Customer Service and the British Property Award Silver for Scotland in 2017. I am so proud of our hugely experienced team who all go the extra mile when dealing with clients. I am delighted that our efforts have been recognised and that we have been shortlisted for another national award which is great exposure for the Perth and Kinross area”.
