Giving Back

Premier Properties Perth is very proud to be a local estate agency with a big heart.

We strongly believe that community is at the heart of what makes a place a home, and that being an active member of that community is what makes the difference.

Our team actively support local community initiatives and fundraising efforts across Tayside and Perthshire and we’re proud to share with you here some of the great work our team have done in supporting local charities.

June 2025: PADS

This month, our amazing sales team member Paula chose @PADS (Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society) to receive our monthly £100 charity donation!
Paula recently visited the local dog rescue charity at Forteviot, where she met the lovely Joanna, Georgie and Kobe – a 7 year old Bulldog who’s back at the kennels after his owner became ill.
This year, the well-loved charity is celebrating an incredible 35 years of caring for Perthshire’s unwanted dogs, giving them shelter, love, and new families to call their own.
Their annual “Scrufts” Dog Show is coming up in Dunning on 16th August – don’t miss it! They’re also looking for items and vouchers for their tombola. If you’d like to donate, fundraise, or find out how to adopt your own four-legged friend, get in touch with PADS by email at in**@***********ue.com or call 01764 684491

May 2025: Blairgowrie Riding for the Disabled Association

This month Eleze chose Blairgowrie Riding for the Disabled Association to receive the company’s £100 charity donation. Eleze and Paula from our Sales Team recently visited their Easter Rattray base to meet some of the inspiring team members and riders who benefit from their amazing work.

The group’s purpose is to enable people of all ages with physical and learning disabilities to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of horse riding. Their five gentle ponies – Tony, Zebedee, Patch, Tash, and Rosa – help visitors build confidence, communication, and physical skills.

PPP is delighted to shine a spotlight on this wonderful local charity. For information on how you can support the valuable work Blairgowrie DRA does in the local community, click here.

February 2025: Cardiac Risk in the Young

Our Business Manager, Laura kicked off our 2025 “Giving Back” campaign during Heart Month in February. She is raising awareness and vital funds for CRY by moving 100km in the month.
In October 2024, Laura attended a free heart screening through Cardiac Risk in the Young. Her initial ECG picked up some abnormalities leading to a diagnosis of mild aortic regurgitation, meaning one of her heart valves doesn’t close properly causing blood to leak back into the heart. She has been given an all clear but she is so thankful she went for the screening that day as she had no symptoms
CRY is an incredible organisation dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac deaths in young people. They provide FREE heart screenings for individuals aged 14-35, with the next screening in the Perth area scheduled for October.
There are people who go to these screenings and serious heart conditions come to light that wouldn’t have, without these screenings.
The entire team at PPP is backing you, Laura! We’ve contributed £100 to this amazing cause – please join us in helping Laura raise more funds.

November 2024: Perth Community Fire Station Christmas Appeal

Gayle chose this heartwarming initiative to receive our £100 donation in November 2024.

Together with Laura, they had the pleasure of presenting the donation to some of the amazing Firefighters at Perth Fire Station.

They’re rallying to support over 500 people in Perth, including 300 children who they didn’t want waking up on Christmas morning with little or nothing.

The appeal runs annually so if you missed it last year, there’s always a chance to help out in the future. Contact them by email.

October 2024: Children’s Hospices Across Scotland

In October, Joe from our Lettings Team shone a light on a charity close to his heart. Originally from Kinross, the home of Rachel House, Joe chose CHAS for its invaluable work providing support to families across Scotland facing life-shortening conditions in children.

We recently visited Rachel House to meet the amazing Fiona and Becky and deliver our donation. From a warm welcome to a tour through the “home-from-home”, we saw first-hand the wonderful facilities and dedication and compassion of the staff that make such a positive impact on families.

CHAS is such an important charity dedicated to reaching every family in need during their toughest times, whether through their hospices in Kinross and Balloch or through support in hospitals and homes.

There are many ways to support the charity, from fundraising and volunteering to forming business partnerships. For more information visit their website.

August 2024: Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance

David, who you may have spotted in the PPP van managing our signs, recently got to experience up close an entirely different mode of transport! He chose Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance – SCAA as our August charity partner, receiving a £100 donation from the company.

We were privileged to visit the charity’s HQ at Perth Airport where we met some of the dedicated crew members of Helimed 76, including inspiring paramedics Gillian and Ali.

SCAA delivers expert paramedic care to the scene of time-critical emergencies in every corner of Scotland and rapid transfers to hospital, 365 days a year. They are a national charity and receive no statutory government funding, so rely 100% on donations from the public to fuel their life-saving flights, as well as the help of volunteers to keep their services running smoothly.

There are plenty of ways to support this vital charity, whether through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word. Visit their website for more information.

July 2024: Missing Pets, Perth and Kinross Scotland

Our Lettings Negotiator Anne selected Missing Pets, Perth and Kinross as our charity partner in July 2024. She was delighted to present founder, Katie, and one of their dedicated volunteers, Chrissie, with our £100 donation.

Katie was inspired to create the Facebook page after personally experiencing the stress and worry of her own family dog going missing. The initiative has grown over the years and is now run by a team of committed volunteers throughout Perthshire.

For over a decade, these volunteers have helped reunite lost and found animals with their families. Thanks to fundraising efforts they have been able to acquire essential equipment such as head torches, cameras, walkie talkies, drones, and thermal scopes.

We were delighted to shine a spotlight on the incredible work undertaken by Katie and the team, who provide a vital resource to pet owners in the local community. If you would like to support/donate to Missing Pets Perth & Kinross, please visit their Facebook page.

June 2024: Bridge of Earn Gala Day

We were delighted to support the Bridge of Earn Summer Gala Day.

Our director Katie had the pleasure of meeting with John Bruce, Chair of The Gala Day Committee, and other members to present them with a donation of £100 to help make this popular local event a success.

The event takes place annually in Victoria Park from 12-5 pm and is a day packed with family fun from bouncy castles to children’s sports, live music, craft stalls, and food and drink vendors, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. A definite date for your diary.

May 2024: Perthshire Gundog Rescue

This month, Eleze, our Sales Manager, chose Perthshire Gundog Rescue (PGR) to receive our £100 charity donation.

During a visit to their Headquarters near Errol, we had the pleasure of meeting with Carol Begg, the passionate founder of the initiative, and two of their dedicated volunteers, Cameron and Annie.

Carol explained that PGR’s mission goes beyond rescuing and rehoming gundog breeds. During our tour of PGR Headquarters, we were struck by the warm and welcoming environment that truly felt like a home.

Taking an holistic approach, the centre includes an outdoor space featuring a plunge pool, vegetable garden, cold therapy shower, sensory garden, and grooming room, and is home to various other animals including horses, fish, guinea pigs, hens, and cats!

If you would like to support PGR, please get in touch with them via their website.

April 2024: Duncan Sanderson, Rural Emergencies and Immediate Life Support – Perthshire

In April 2024 our Lettings Negotiator, Kevin McNiven, chose his good friend Duncan Sanderson, Rural Emergencies and Immediate Life Support to be the recipient of a £100 donation from Premier Properties Perth.

Duncan is a doctor with NHS Tayside who is on a mission to bring defibrillators and life support training to Highland Perthshire. With Highland Perthshire being quite a distance from a cardiac centre, having access to defibrillators and quality CPR can truly be a lifesaver. Sadly Duncan’s father, Barry, sadly passed away from a cardiac arrest two years ago in Killiecrankie and Duncan started his life-saving initiative in Barry’s memory.

Duncan’s efforts have already made a difference in Blair Atholl, where a public defibrillator is now at the golf course. He also runs a series of emergency life-support training classes for residents in Highland Perthshire.

Learn more about Duncan’s initiative via his Youtube video or visit his Facebook Group.

February 2024: The Sunshine Box

In February 2024 our Business Manager, Laura selected The Sunshine Box to recieve a donation of £100.

The Sunshine Box was founded by Fiona Martin in 2016 and the charity’s mission is to raise funds to provide toy boxes filled with new toys, books, and games that can be gifted to children aged 0-16 who are facing painful or frightening procedures in hospital wards or clinics.

Laura has a personal connection to The Sunshine Box, as her son Cameron benefited from the comfort of choosing a toy during a procedure at Ninewells Hospital.

Funds are used to purchase items for all the toy boxes across the hospitals so if you’d like to donate, visit their website.

January 2024: HogsCroft Hedgehog Rescue

Each month, a member of the PPP Team will donate £100 to a charity of their choice. HogsCroft Hedgehog Rescue was our charity choice in January 2024 chosen by our Director Katie Hall.

The charity, which is celebrated its first birthday in 2024, was started by retired teacher Alison Middleton. Starting the project from a spare room in her house and progressing to a converted garage, Alison has turned her Inchture home into a hedgehog rescue and rehabilitation centre. With the help of volunteers, Alison has dedicated her time, energy, and resources to nursing 114 sick and injured hedgehogs back to health.

We are delighted to shine a spotlight on the incredible work Alison is doing to protect this vulnerable animal which has an uncertain future. If you’d like to support this wonderful cause, there are plenty of ways to lend a helping hand!

Contact Alison via the HogsCroft Hedgehog Rescue Facebook page.
